Amazing & Unique Tour
If you would like to get out of the city for a half day I highly recommend this tour. First, we drove to a bustling farmers market an hour outside of the city for an amazing breakfast at three different food stands. The scenery on the way to the market is spectacular-you are driving up into the mountains high above Acapulco. The market has an amazing selection of meat, produce and household goods. You get a glimpse of what typical Mexican family life is like by being in this town. After we could not eat another thing, we drove on to the archaeological site. The site is much different than other sacred sites we have visited in Mexico. There are also very unique trees and plants on site; I will not spoil the surprise for you! I highly recommend this tour and Sebastian as a tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about his hometown and his heritage.
The tour of the archaeological site was amazing. Going to the market and getting to eat the delicious food and explore the vendor booths made us feel like we got to experience true Mexican culture. Definitely recommend!
Lovely Drive & Great History
We enjoyed our trip to the Tehuacalco archaeological site. We stopped at a farmers market and walked around and tasted some of the wonderful foods being served.. Yummy breakfast! Lots to see at the market. Then we carried on to the Tehuacalco site. Sebastian supplies all the history and it was appreciated. Great trip.
