Overview:
If you’re looking to get a real taste of an old colonial period Mexico, Taxco delivers this in spades.
This was the most well-known of all of Mexico’s silver cities as the richest city in New Spain back to the 16th and 17th centuries.
Beyond the silver metal, 16th century baroque-style Santa Prisca church is an extraordinarily beautiful parish with 12 tall altars covered each with tiny thin karat of gold. The whole construction is done it in baroque style which is the art of the height of the Spanish empire and its New Espain era.

ITINERARY :
6:30 AM — Departure. Pickup and drop-off from most of downtown Acapulco.
Your tour begins with hotel or cruise ship port pickup and starts to reveal the contrast between the Acapulco tourist area and the countryside scenery, breathtaking scenic views, and lush vegetation of Sierra Madre.
8:00 AM— Delicious Mexican Breakfast at the capital state Chilpancingo city.
8:45 AM Then take a scenic drive to Taxco, which is known as the ‘silver city’ and is known as one of the Spanish colonial towns in Mexico Located high in the rugged mountains of northern Guerrero State, the colonial town was once an isolated Spanish stronghold.
10:30 AM TAXCO SIGHTSEEING.
Enjoy Taxco with its cobblestone streets, cozy squares, and picturesque marketplaces and Touring inside one of the UNESCO-Listed colonial style churches named Santa Prisca. Culture lovers will love the richly detailed baroque and colonial façade of silver city.
2:00 PM Lunch time. The culinary offer in Taxco is huge and most of all very Mexican. You have the chance to try the Mexican special dishes.
5:00 PM Return from Taxco to Acapulco.
8:00 PM Back to your resort.
